My path into the world of casework only began in 2016, though I brought with me 16 yrs of experience in quality control, regulatory compliance, investigative analysis, and various leadership and safety roles in the FDA regulated pharmaceutical industry.  Those roles included laboratory chemist, team leader, supervisor, primary investigator, Hazmat Spill Response Team member, Emergency First Response Team member, etc, but I wasn’t genuinely happy.  During that time in Pharma, I was often chasing other ways to bring more fulfillment to my life (EMT certification, wilderness adventures, a decade of athletic endurance goals checked off, etc), but an inner void seemed ever-present.  After some deep self-reflection, and with a huge leap of faith, I sold any possession that wouldn’t fit with me and my dogs in my car, and we explored the wide open spaces of USA for a year.  Omitting a long back story, one afternoon I became instantly aware that my inner flame of happiness and fulfillment had returned while working at a small cabinet shop in Bend, Oregon.

After gaining a few months of experience as a sawyer, an assembler, and an installer, one afternoon one of the owners asked me, “Are you good with computers?”.  “I know my way around them”, I responded.  “Good. Put down your tools.  You’re now an engineer”, he said.   Next thing I know, I’m engineering and managing multiple projects at that same company, now Anderson Clark Interiors (ACI), and genuinely enjoying the challenges, camaraderie, respect, and trust with this impressively talented team.  There isn’t a single person working here who doesn’t bring great individual value, unique talent, and depth to ACI.  That is a great part of why you’ll be hard pressed to find any casework manufacturer that can meet the needs of their clients, as well as we do.  I’m grateful to be here.
